The Adam's Peak (Sri Pada) summit is the peak of a 2,243-meter (7,359 ft) conical mountain in central Sri Lanka, known for a sacred footprint atop its peak revered by multiple religions and spectacular views, especially at sunrise. While the climb is strenuous and requires thousands of steps, the trail is well-maintained, especially the popular Hatton route, and features numerous roadside stalls for refreshments and rest stops.
