Temple of the Gadaladenia

Located in Diggala in Kandy district, Gadaladeniya Temple in Sri Lanka is one of the oldest monasteries in Sri Lanka. Nestled on a rock the temple has built inspired from the south Indian architecture is construction done by King Buwanekabaghu the fourth in 1344 AD.
