Minneriya Sri Lanka

Located close to Polonnaruwa, Minneriya national park is one of the top national parks in Sri Lanka that tourists and locals visit every year.

The national park is part of the elephant corridor which joins up with Kaudulla and Wasgomuwa parks. Known for the world’s largest elephant gathering Minneriya national park is home to many elephants. Covering an area of 8,889 hectares the park can be easily accessed from cities such as Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Habarana and Giritale. Kumana National Park

Situated in 391 kilometers away from Colombo, Kumana National Park is located in the Ampara district of the south-east of Sri Lanka.

Also known as Yala East National Park, the park spans across an area of 35,664 hectares. With beautiful mangrove swamp “Villu” s scattered around the park, Kumana is also known for its beautiful scenery. Some of the animals you can find in the park are Elephants, Leopards, Golden Jackal, Wild Boar, European Otter and birds such as pelicans, painted storks, spoonbills, white ibis, herons, egrets and hundreds of little cormorants. The Kumana national park is very popular among environmentalists, wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers

Wasgamuwa Sri Lanka

Bounded to Matale and Polonnaruwa districts, Wasgamuwa national park is situated at a distance of 225 km away from Colombo. The national park spans across an area of 36,900 hectares and is bordered by 2 main Rivers; Amban Ganga and Mahaweli Ganga in east and west. With a large heard of elephants (around 150), the best time to witness elephants at the park is from November to May. Apart from that the park is home to Purple-faced langur monkeys, sambar wild boars, and spotted deer, buffalos, water monitors, mugger crocodiles, estuarine crocodiles and pythons (Python Molurus).

Wilpattu National Park

Wilpattu National Park is located close to the historic city of Anuradhapura and was declared as a National Park in 1938. The thickly grown the dry zone forest with many villus, or natural lakes offers you stunning landscape sceneries during our wildlife safari adventure in the park. The national park is home to mammals such as Elephants, Sri Lankan Leopards, Spotted Deer, Lankan Sloth Bear, and Buffalos. Yala National Park

Yala national park is the number one place to go on a safari ride to spot leopards. Being the national park that has the highest leopard concentration, the park is also home many wild animals including, elephants, Toque macaque, red slender loris, golden palm civet and fishing cat and so much more

Kalpitiya Dolphin & Whale Watching

Located on the north-west beach, Kalpitiya is known for spotting whales and dolphins. November/December, and then again in March is the best time to go whale and dolphin watching in Kalpitiya. Sperm whales are the most commonly sighted species in the area
