Dambakola Patuna Sangamitta Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple situated in the Jaffna district that has a significant historical value. It is believed to be the place where Sangamitta Thero landed with the scared Sri Maha Bodhi tree from India which was planted in Anuradhapura.
