Being one of the top tourist attractions in Galle, Dutch Reformed Church has been built by the Dutch. The original church was built in 1640 and the present church building was built in 1752. The church’s floor has been paved with gravestones from Dutch cemeteries. Another interesting feature of the place is pulpit made from calamander wood and topped by a grand hexagonal canopy
