Being one of the 4 main devalayas at the temple of the tooth in Kandy, “Natha Devale” is situated directly facing the Dalada Maligaya. Being the oldest surviving structure from the Kandyan Kingdom the temple was built by King Vickramabahu III in the 14th Century. Natha Devala has built inspired by the Dravidian architecture with a “gedige” style has two stupas.
