Located in Tissamaharama, Tissa dagabo is one of the top highlights of the Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara. It is considered as one of the largest dagobas in Sri Lanka. Experts believe that this stupa was built by King Kavantisaa in the 1st century B.C. If you visit this place you will see that this dagabo is very similar to Ruwanweli Seya in Anuradhapura
