Weherahena Buddhist Temple

Wherahena Buddhist temple is one of the top Buddhist temples to visit in Matara. With astonishing designs and a 35 feet tall Buddha statue, the temple leaves every visitor in awe. The underground temple where you can see some architectural designs has adorned with beautiful paintings. There are also a lot of small statues of Lord Buddha inside the temple.
