Sri Lankan Attraction Hummanaya Blow hole

Hummanaya Blow hole

Hummanaya Blowhole, also known as "Kudawella Blowhole" or "Dikwella Blowhole," is a natural marvel found near the village of Kudawella in the Matara District of Sri Lanka. It is the biggest blowhole in Sri Lanka and the world's second-largest.

A blowhole is a geological structure formed when seawater is driven through a tiny breach in coastal rock, resulting in a forceful geyser-like spray that shoots into the air. The Hummanaya Blowhole was developed over time by the erosion of coastal limestone rocks, culminating in a cylindrical cave with a top opening.
